I have just spent two hours reading sabines diary and am sat here in tears. Such an inspiring lady who's courage and determination shone through until the end. To see that she finally married angel after having stole from him so many years before to fund her gambling made me smile. We can all be forgiven. RIP beautiful lady. Your legacy still lives On x

Admin. Has anyone considered getting permission to turn sabines diary into a Book?. I'm sure she would be proud of the help it would provide to others and the proceeds could maybe go towards funding for gamcare? X

Unfortunately as Sabine is no longer with us we're unable to seek permission to do anything with the content. For confidentiality reasons as well it wouldnt be appropriate.

I remember reading this diary a good few years ago on the old gamcare and the battle with gambling and then cancer. Courage showed throughout and am more determined than ever after rereadings diary to stay strong. Even whilst she was ill she inspired others. R I P but your legacy of strength will carry on x

I have just read all through this diary. Words can't express how much this diary touched me, the first time I've read something and been reduced to tears. I thought gambling had stripped me of all human emotion, but this has just proven it hasn't. What a wonderful woman. I wish I had just a fraction of your strength. RIP.

Been thinking of you Sabine and your Angel. I hope he is coping it seems so long ago we net here but then it feels like yesterday.

I am very late to meet you in person, but i did finally found a courage to read your diary since i joined this site two years ago...it was very emotional but i learned so much about life simply from your words. I know you're not with us in body but you're definitely here in spirit..every day 🙂
I also hope your Angel is coping well..of course he is - you're looking over him.
RIP dear soul, you have gifted many lives in this world. And that's true..you have saved more than you could think off.

Thank you for putting this as a 'sticky'. I am at the start of my recovery and have spent the past few days reading Sabine's diary.

To say that it is inspirational is an understatement. She truly was an astounding person. I hope that I can be half as strong as she was. RIP Sabine. Sending love and best wishes to your family.

Wow! Just spent the past few hours reading this incredible story of a truly remarkable woman. The tears are streaming down my face. As I start my journey for the umpteenth time I will take inspiration and comfort from you Sabine. The world may be darker without you but you've lit up the lives of so many. I can and will beat this horrible addiction. I hope your at peace,God bless xxx
