When I look at betting shops or see the online glossy adverts the feeling I get it is, how is this allowed let alone encouraged. The chinese know they can't stop themselves so the government made it illegal. It still doesn't stop them but slows it down a bit and keeps a lid on the worst excesses. When I lost a massive load I wrote to the CEO of betting company to share the pain and suffering I had felt. They called an ambulance and sent the NHS on a waste of their resources in case I had hurt myself. I guess they felt like they had 'done their job'.
