I had a feeling you’d stick to this and take it seriously. I sensed that you really wanted that better life than the alternative. 

No complacency, of course. We are still vulnerable but less so as we get stronger in every way. 🙂

Thanks roch. I’m 113 days in and I will still continue to take it one day at a time

Hi guys thanks for popping in roch and aum. Holiday is great! Be on chat when I return . 

Today marks day 130. 130 days ago I confessed to my fiancé that I had relapsed and I had made huge mistakes. That’s when I came here and looked for help. What I got was amazing support from my peers and counselling. I am a different person than I was 130 days ago. It’s still early days but I am still gamble free. One day at a time x

Doing good. That's the way one day at a time, only look forward,never get complacent. 

Welcome home Debsy and delighted you are still so buoyant about your hard-fought, and one-day-at-a-time won, life recovering from this addiction.  It's a great place to be, and can be enjoyed, one day a time, for as long as you like!  It's lovely having you with us here, and, believe us, you spur us on just as much.

I have just enjoyed reading the posts on your diary and totally agree with the sentiments of Charlieboy & Roch:

1/ Care must be taken not to become complacent.
