Thank you for visiting my diary Boo & Scotty.

Look forward to seeing you in the Peeraid Chatroom tomorrow morning if you can make it. I will bake a cake and bring along some bananas ???? ???.

Hello Diary.

Two months ago was Christmas Day with reindeer in the sky

Strikes me as uncanny that the time goes flying by

Enjoying all my gamble free days with very few regrets

Good riddance to the betting shops, machines and stupid bets.

Aum ?

Just had a dance workout in my kitchen to some great Latin music.

Feel so good I am surprised its legal ???.

Aum 221 days gamble free and rocking.

Haha Scotty you old scallywag ???.

Your last post made me smile and took me on a journey down memory lane.

I now have a picture in my mind of our friend listening to "Dance Monkey" as she practises the "Inbetweener Dance" moves ??? with a chocolate chip cheesecake for dessert ???.

Hi Stephen

Rock and Roll indeed! Because we are allowed to enjoy our recovery. We're on a positive path... We don't have to wear sackcloth while we do it ?

And Latin music can be some of the most uplifting there is. And so, in a nod to Spinal Tap, let's turn that amp up to 11 ?

Here's to an enjoyable, and the sunniest for a long while. weekend Stephen!

Good morning Stephen on this last day of February ([quickly checks calendar for the year; yep - it is 🙂 ].  I agree the nights are getting interesting, as are indeed the mornings, as we herald Spring!  I'm loving the sunrises and sunsets and wonder if there really might be a divine force out there, making these incredible tapestries of the sky .....

Another day none the less. Yesterday's gone, tomorrow's a mystery. So it's all about today.

And, consequently, I'm wishing you, Stephen,  a Sunday of peace, fulfilment and enjoyment.

Many thanks for the inspirational post Roch.

Hello Diary.

Feeling very jolly on this warm and sunny day

Hull seems quite serene as I venture on my way

Quacking ducks ecstatic as I throw them tasty oats

They eat it very quickly on the water where it floats

Stroll by the Marina - admiring yachts and boats

Short-sleeved people passing have abandoned scarves and coats

Everyone looks joyful - children laugh and play

Gamble-free is the way to be on such a lovely day.

Just listening to somebody on the radio singing " What Becomes Of The Broken Hearted."

I know what happened to him ?.

He stopped gambling.

Changed his name to Aum.

And lived happily ever after.

Feeling good.

225 Days Gamble Free.

1st day of March and the start of a new week.

Monday's child keeps off the slots and doesn't have a bet.

Tuesday's child has realised it doesn't do to fret.

Wednesday's child stays off the fobts and takes the spouse to dinner.

Thursday's child is gamble-free so surely is a winner.

Friday's child avoids the dogs and galloping horses too.

Saturday's child with family enjoys a treat or two.

And the child that's born on the sabbath day can laugh, dance and sing, regardless of the challenges that life can sometimes bring.

Wishing everyone on the diaries success, contentment and happy days.

It is wonderful to know that you are entering your 227th day gambling free Aum, with a consistent approach to go with it. I am in your footsteps, on Day 50 and I look forward to "clinking glasses" with you when you reach your 277th day...

However we never ever get ahead of ourselves although it's good to look forwards to a better life, one day at a time.

'Tis Tuesday, Spring is springing and who knows what today will bring? Serenity and peace if mind at the end of it - we'll take that, Stephen ?

229 days gamble free Stephen!  I thought I'd celebrate this eclectic number, because normally, 229 doesn't mean anything to anyone, but today, for you, it matters a great deal. Because just for today Stephen, you've made a vow not to gamble!

According to Google, the number 229 is characterised by creativity and expression, being the mark of extroverted and communicative people, who love to talk, exchange ideas. In spirituality, the number 229 is considered as the union between the bodies, the spirit and the mind, representing, therefore, people who seek to maintain balance.

And isn't that one of the finer benefits of not gambling?  We find ourselves.

Stephen, I wish you a fantastic Friday. Cold it might be, but I know that, as you traverse your home town, you will rightly have a spring in your step 🙂
