Hi everyone I have been a compulsive gambler for 25 years. I have tried many different methods to battle against this awful addiction I have been gambling free now for 79 days and feel extremely proud of my achievement of how this time I have dealt with it.
I have put in place ways of not putting my self in a situation where I am going to be at all vulnerable to fall in to the trap.
When I feel the urge I imagine my life with or with out gambling it may sound easy to just say it but we all know the lies and deceit we use when we gamble and the pain,hurt and suffering it can cause our love ones because let's be honest the majority of compulsive gamblers in my opinion have told lies to cover up there addiction.
Without acting by playing fruit machines buying scratch cards again and again chasing loses we feel a sense of self worth.
I am going to make every effort to make sure I stay gambling free this time around I am not willing to lose everything I have to this selfish addiction.

Very true. It's so difficult. I've done over 30 days which I never ever imagined I would be able to do. But life is a lot better without gambling.
Here here. I’m around 30 days and life is so much better. Hope everyone can get through this.
