I am coping with this.  Every time I feel the need to look at the charts, I recount, in detail, the major loss that I had and how I stupidly kept adding to a losing positing with higher and higher amounts, and how I transferred all my savings into the spread betting account in that one short crazy evening.  And I feel fear.  This is what stops me from starting it again.   I am fortunate, in so much that I've managed to hide and distribute the losses so no one has found out.    I am now 4 weeks free of this, and trying to rebuild my life.  I take one breath at a time, one minute, one hour, one day.  I've been so tired, stress i think, and keeping it all balanced and hidden.  I've made plans for the future, removed access to money that would be needed to start again in spread betting.  Its uphill all the way, and although i have not ruled out stupid again, I think, I hope I'm turning a corner.

Good for you...be strong and just step back and think how much better you feel. What you lost, like me, can never be recovered so try and forget it, like I try and do.  I'm sick to my stomach but must beat this or it will really start to materially affect my way of life; I simply can't afford to fail again. Its not easy but never do it again and cancel easy subscriptions and memberships so they can't be used again without some real effort to set them up again. As I said, good luck and be strong.
