Long story short..... am a 48 yo white male here in the US that’s been struggling with gambling since I was 18 years old and now have major depression disorder because of all of this.
Started with lottery scratch off tickets, later moved to casino slot machines, cards and now into sports gambling. Really made a mistake the last couple of weeks and am upset with myself. Made a deposit into a online sportsbook, made a deposit of $... and ran it up to over $.... I lost it all today and I just feel so bad because I always put myself in this situation. I just am confused and am starting over again. I just can’t heat this.
My financial situation is not great, no bills but have filed bankruptcy 4 times in my life. I just cannot get over my losses. I’ve lost everything a few times in my life including my home and all savings. I’m better off having no bills, credit or money because I always go to gamble it.

You don't mention what support or treatment you have used so far, but you do post that you have depression, so perhaps you have the support of a doctor. Our forum members often encourage each other to use support for their recovery and health and well-being, including medical and therapeutic and peer support, for example fellowships like Gamblers Anonymous.
