Hi everyone, I'm new here

Can anybody help me? I've been gambling since I was 18, I used to go on bandits alot, but not now. Last year I was seeing a gamcare councillor, she gave me excellent advice, but now, it's become an habit. It's with scratch cards, I can spend alot, upto 60 pounds. My mum looks after my money, but I keep on getting aggressive, when I don't get money (for scratch cards). I've tried to write more, but in the end, the cravings are still there.

Thanks

Yes I agree - Scratchcards are bad - I have quite often gone and bought 50 80 or 100 pound of cards.

I feel that shops should be given a scratchcard buying limit its wrong

Thank you for your comment. And yes, the shops should have a limit on buying scratch cards, or self exclude yourself from scratch cards (if you know the shop owner)

Remember its not your mums fault so try not to take it out on her, I think its ridiculous the amount of scratch cards on sale these days and they should definitely be a limited amount that you can but buy its difficult to implement. I have noticed that the £10 scratch cards are being removed from a lot of stores which is good. All the best in your recovery pal.
