just feeling sorry for myself but i know what I need to do.

@poblwc thank-you.

My husband was so supportive when I first told him, but now I’ve let him down by relapsing and he doesn’t know!

I know how you feel it is so difficult. My husband has control now of the finances. I hava a Monzo card with a limit on which has helped me control this cruel disease. I did gamble a few days ago however i have a limit so not too bad. I feel silly now . I am with Gamstop. However with Monzo online chat support they have blocked payments to this provider for future payments. It is best to tell your husband. I know he may be disappointed but you will have to get rid of temptation and let him control the finances if possible and you can open an account in a few months perhaps and take control of a small budget. Hope this helps xx all the best

Hi

In the past I have gone back to gambling so many times.

For me gambling was a form of escape when I could not cope with people life and situations.

It is important to not give up on your self.

I am a non religious person who felt so low about my self.

Now I understand that I was very vulnerable emotionlly.

I knew I needed to do more for my self, more time in meetings.

Some times 2 - 3 meetings per week.

I was so much a loner.

Now I am more connectd with my self and other people.

Please stick with your recovery you are worth it.

The recovery program is a healing program.

Love and peace to everyone
