Hi I gave up my finances to my mum its been three days i have done this feel better for it. I cant gamble as i have no money . And i can only get money for teas with my support worker and tobaccos. The only problem is my mum is 71 she cant look after money all the time  so I have to think of other solutions in the future.  i have no girlfriend to look after my money other members of my family dont want to look after my finances . So far so good i suppose.

Well done Jas, take one day at a time. Once your mum is no longer able to look after your finances hopefully you will be in a much stronger position than you are now and no longer have the urges to gamble. Take all the help you can get and try to not to look to far ahead.

I seen a wise picture the other day of 2 sets of ladders. One with little steps which was achievable to climb but more steps meant take longer  and the next set with very large spaces between each step which is less steps to climb but would be more difficult to do. Moral of it is baby steps is the way forward and trying to cut corners by the quickest route isn't necessarily the best route and sets you up to fail. So wish I could of shared the image it really puts it into perspective.

Good luck.
