I'm currently trying to actively avoid making any effort at getting around my gamstop which came into effect yday. I'm pacing and exhausted and I feel I need a distraction but I don't know what. TV is boring me. Can't go out for walk as on my own with kids, they could go with me later but they are sleeping still. Been up since 4 and can't stop thinking about how nice a win would be 🙁

I've had previous addiction issues and I know that first few days are tricky as. Then it will come in waves and gradually be less bothersome.

The agitation is driving me nuts, any ideas anyone?

Drop any spare money you have access to in a restricted ISA or premium bonds; you can still get to the money if you need it but it takes a few days for it to hit your account. It's the only thing that works for me; it never used to matter what i did if i had access to money i was dangerous.

Premium bonds/life time ISA's/building society accounts etc. often take a few days from requesting a transfer to it hitting your account

If there is no access to funds/cash on hand, then no matter how bad the urges get there is nothing you can do about it.

Don’t be plotting son, whatever you do don’t be plotting.
It starts off as my little project, a way to circumvent the barriers you put in place. A trip down to the store that converts belongings to cash perhaps? that bookies in the next town perhaps? And it makes you feel good.

it’s not a project it’s an illness. Tell yourself that each day and good luck!
