Day 8 of gambling free and have just been payed from work ! The last few days I have been coming to terms with my long term debt and have calculated £8500 is owed to loan companies and finance Because of my addiction .... now I am thinking what if I play the slots and get a big win , I can pay all my debts and have some cash spare . But then again if I stay free from gambling I can pay all my debts in 24 months ! Long term it makes sense and considering I’m in this situation because of gambling it’s not good thinking to start playing the slots again . My urge to gamble has come back and it’s annoying because I know we can’t beat the bookie . I was ready to jump in the car and fly over to w**********l but instead I sat down and came on to this site to express how I feel . It seems to help when I open up and note things down .
It's the illness calling you to engage. Do whatever you can to put blocks in place financially because the minefield of gambling will take you past the gutter if you do not help your-self. Its a mind control addiction that deceives us to gamble.

I think most of us felt the same on "pay day" just £20 to try win but then end up blowing the lot in a few hours
Gamban and gamstop have been my life savers, I simply cannot login online now, at first I felt like I lost my right arm not being able to play, but with the blocks in place there's no chance I can access my accounts
You just know that big win will never happen, well it might but you'll end up spending it anyway as we simply can't stop
