Hi

I am now 7 days gambling free , i dreaded this bank holiday weekend coming as knew it would be difficult but have managed not to be tempted. I love my sport and especially football , when though are the gambling adverts going to stop , when i see them at half time , it gives me a sick feeling , makes me think about it and also makes me feel guilty that i use to place the bet. The part i hate the most is them talking about restrictions , if you need to place a limit on an account, you should not gamble. I hope the day comes when there are no more gambling adverts on the tv.

Hi, I feel the same. When I gambled I never noticed any adverts, now they seem to be all the time! Last night the ‘Be Gamble Aware’ one came on, and although this isn’t an advertising advert for gambling, it still sent a horrible guilt feeling through me, because that person was me, not noticing anything or anyone around me.

Stay strong ☺️

I am also been gamble free now for seven days .

When I watch Itv hub that b*****r advert keeps coming where they use the dogs to advertise casino .

The adverts should be banned on tv and radio.

Well-done on your seven days .

                                      Jamie.

@jamie198538

I was thinking the same about the ad bans for gambling related stuff. But then what would people recovering from alcohol addiction say about alcohol ads...

When I think about it, gambling ads still seem more vile but then again I am not recovering from alcohol addiction.

Also all the gambling ads are about winning 24/7.. that´s what is P*****g me off, that should atleast be more regulated.

Hi

I use to feel unsettled whent there were special occasions or long week ends.

For me it helped having plans made in advance to write down wants needs and make plans.

To also be ready if some one changed plans or canceled.
