Kevthekevvvvvv. fab to hear from you. I totally understand you don't have to explain. I'm glad you felt up to coming on even if it's just a day now and then. I'm def doing our one day at a time and it's mounting up went for first face to face GA meeting last night and already know it's going to be good for me, I was the only woman there and previously that would have been a problem for me but it's funny isn't it hitting rock bottom seems to change your perspective on things. I didn't feel uncomfortable in any way that's going to be my Monday night from now. Take care speak soon

Keep on it Kev. When we try to break this horrible addiction it is often the days when things are not going great that we are tempted the most. I think it's great that your gamble free streak is still going and I wish you the best of luck with your appointment tomorrow. You are so much stronger than you give yourself credit for my friend.

Thanks mythedunk

You always say the right things at the right time, I will continue to stay gamble free dunk as the alternative isn't worth thinking about, as you know my friend never want to be in that position again. Each day is a day closer to happiness and even although things are not great at the moment it's not back at that start of the dark tunnel, if I can stay away from the start then I know in time things will be right, no easy ride just the rodeo. Atleast your doing well my friend keep up the good work and the wise comments

Just an update on how things are going at moment.

Well I know tomorrow some of my medication is going to be changing as the ones I'm on for my post traumatic stress disorder seem to have passed their sell by date, as always I know these take up to 6wks to get in the system but its one off those things you've got to do and just cross your fingers and hope they work as if not back to the drawing board so if I'm not on as much to my friends please don't worry as will just be adjusting. But will try to keep you updated as this is my thing stay gamble free and keep smiling

Thanks Charlieboy

You know me I'll keep myself right as we've got a quest to continue on and I'm not giving that up! Well I've slept for 1hr last night suppose it's better than none.  Just sat here waiting on my zoom call at 8.20am with the head doctor. See what he can come up with,  you never know he may have that magic pill in his back pocket or usually in the case of psychiatrist it's a pick and hope sort of situation. We  will see speak soon if he doesn't change my tongue lol

Just thought I'd have an update as my meds changed at 11pm last night.

First night not had a wink off sleep, thought this would happen so no big surprise there. New post traumatic stress disorder drug is meant to be a game changer so won't mind hanging in for that to take effect. New headache / migraine meds my schychiatrist put me on I think he was sniffing them himself as really sent me funny and when I read the leaflet you've not to have them with high blood pressure or heart disease in the family and no good for the over 40yrs old, I know I only look 20yrs old lol so will let him off with that one but on a serious note got to phone today about those tablets. But other than that here we go another 5yrs off mylife using a cocktail that hopefully help me through better than before never going to be perfect I never was but if they can just ease the nightmares and flashbacks, release abit of anxiety and depression then I'm here and the next 5yrs better get ready as I'm comming for it before it comes looking for me haha. I really wish I was allowed to work as got far to much time on my hands and that doesn't help myself worth. Well Charlieboy dunks Ford's and crew hope this makes you smile as you all have been there for me and I really appreciate not just the nice words but just the fact youse think about me when you've got so much going on yourselves  many thanks

You know I worry when I don't hear from you so see despite everything you are still thinking of others you came on to let me know that you're still battling away and that means a lot to me. Take care my buddy I'm keeping everything crossed for you. Sending you good thoughts from hot and humid Wales xx
