Welcome to the Forum and well done for reaching out for support.
I’m concerned to read that you have stopped taking your seizure medication. Please do follow your doctor’s advice. You probably know this yourself, but if you don’t take meds as prescribed, it can have very serious consequences.
I am sorry to hear you say that you do not love yourself at the moment. When you look around on the Forum you will see, unfortunately this comes with having a gambling problem. And this is why an essential part of the recovery process is to do things that help you like yourself again. Something small every day. You could start tomorrow by starting to take the seizure meds again and maybe also making an appointment to see your GP.
Please don’t put yourself in danger of physical harm just because you are feeling low now. This can and will pass, but if you have a seizure you might seriously hurt yourself, that can have a long reaching consequence.
You describe having a helpful chat with a counsellor on-line. Please remember we are here 24/7 so call us whenever you need to. Remember, you are not alone.
You also mention struggling to think of how you will pay back a small loan and your overdraft. It may help you to know that you can get free financial advice from the National Debtline on 0808 808 4000.
Please also keep posting on the Forum and read other’s posts as well.
Wishing you all the best,
