just posting after a week and 5 days gamble free. Today is my first payday after being gamble free and it feels amazing. I got paid more than I thought I would (I’m on furlough) and feel like I can really treat my loved ones this year guilt free. This is such an amazing feeling and it has been a while since I have seen this much money in my account without thinking this will be gone in a week (sad but true). I have started saving and the feeling is great. I would also massively encourage anyone who is struggling to take the next steps and join up to Gamstop. You will not regret it !

I signed up to Gamstop over 2 1/2 years ago and it stopped my problem dead in its tracks, in another 5 months I'll be debt free but I keep visiting this site to keep myself grounded and to remind myself what I am. I am feeling exactly the same. I received my pay yesterday and generally within a day of receiving it I’d of spent at least 400-500£ in one night but I haven’t gambled since 13th November and haven’t really thought about it at all. Self exclusion has really helped me massively knowing that even if I wanted to I can’t and its amazing to see how much I’m saving. It’ll be interesting to see what my bank balance looks like say a year down the line when i haven’t gambled ... I bet it’s impressive ... I’ll actually be able to save x
