@malcolm5674 In and out of GA over many years...me too.

I found that when I was in GA I was okay, but when I wasn't in there eventually I would relapse, each time carrying on where I left it and making things worse.

My answer is to stay in GA and work the program. My real turning point after previous long term relapses is to work the twelve steps with someone, they have prevented a lot of potential relapses and it's not too big a statement to say that they have saved my life and completely turned it around.
