I was making good money but things were slowing down (self employed).  I started hitting the casino's just to see if I could make it work.  For the first 6 weeks I did well.  I thought great this is what I'm going to do to make a living.  Fast forward a month and i'm £4500 down.  Luckily I was in a very healthy financial position, but it was more of the embarrassment of how could I have been so silly to risk my money as I have always been pretty careful and always try to save, thankfully after the last loss I said to myself that's it, i'm not going to risk more money, the money I have worked hard for and saved over many years.  And that was only a short time ago.

I already fell better.  I feel less stressed, I have more time on my hands to do other more positive and enjoyable things.

I have gone back to what I was doing previously to earn a living, something that I thought I wouldn't do anymore, but now I realise is a lot less stressful, and much more stable and sensible and therefore ultimately more enjoyable.

I have bookmarked a page that seemed particular relevant to me and it was like they were telling my story, sometimes you can feel alone and then you realise others are going through it and their fight and success can really be inspiring.

I just want to say what a great site this is with so many great posters offering great advice.

I wish everyone on here the best and hope you all have bright futures.
