Hi, I've had a serious problem for years, 5 or 6..all online slots, you know the story, lost 1000,s ..probably around 15k-20k...anyway, ..chasing losses, using responsible gambling tools and banning myself for 6 weeks, only to sign on to a new site the next day...but I could never quite commit to self exclusion..anyway..I've had enough..the shame, the guilt, the debt, I could have paid my mortgage off..so tonight I signed onto 12 sites and self excluded from everyone for 5 years (the maximum) I'm seeing this as my last hope, my last chance to get my life under control....I've done it , finally..of course I wish I'd done it 10k ago...but it's done, now for letting go of the shame and regret and getting on with my life...I would urge anyone to do it..i see it once it's taken away from you, .you cant access it..its the start to recovery..for me anyway..sending positive thoughts to anyone who needs them
Hiya, well done on taking the steps to stop gambling, I did something similar a in 2018 and haven't gambled since (I used Gamstop). I'm sure you'll start to feel the benefits really soon but don't get complacent as this is a life decision and not a short term fix. I wish you all the very best.
