My name is Paul i am 52 and yesterday I admitted I had a problem with online gaming and making purchases within the game. This has cost me so much in my life and I have finally admitted I need help
Hi Paul
Well done on admitting it. That is the first step I feel. Admitting you have an issue.
have you set anything up to prevent you from doing it?
@nutty2 yes I have cancelled any cards connected to the apps and deleted them. Im Currently finding out how to block such advertising in my social media
Hi paul
Cancelling your cards to the games and sites is always a good start. I play a lot of free games that require payments to do better in them but i dont pay so as a lot of my friends have got so far ahead i just think that i will play the game at my pace and not theirs.
i have a gambling addiction that resulted in a mental breakdown last week and my 1st step was to uninstall all the apps i used to gamble with, yesterday, and havent touched one since. This site is another good place to get advice as ive just spent an hour with an agent discussing my problems and feel much better for it.
I hope you feel like you can talk to them and come out better on the other side
. After 2 years on Sunday I admitted I had a problem it was hard to admit it but it has ruined my life. The addiction to a game and the constant purchasing in the pursuit of better things to just be the best was overwhelming. It has cost me a lot and hurt people too. I had my first session on Wednesday and it really helped me too. I'm currently setting up a support site for gamers that have this problem and the support from the Gaming community is huge. My Facebook post exploded yesterday with 300 plus reads and many comments and others in the same situation. I have also deleted all game apps too
