Hi Everyone

i am very new to this, i found very recently after a long time being involved in gambling that it has become a much bigger problem than i can handle. i took this step today because it was to late to fix it, i chased my losses and lost it all, i feel very low today and rubbish and worried about finances for the next few months, spoke to a brilliant guy on here this morning who told me i should go on to the forums so here i am, trying to occupy my mind, not so i dont gamble again but so i can share my thoughts and how low and rubbish i feel, any advice or just someone to tell me i am not the only one right now would mean the world to me

thankyou and have a great day guys

Evening Warren

Well done for making the first step & talking & taking the time to do so, don’t ignore or underestimate how big of a first step that is so a HUGE WELL DONE for that!!

Opening up & expressing helps so just keep with that, little & often or just when you feel like you want to... There’s no rule book here but it’s a safe environment for you to express & unload, ask for help, read others intake... What ever you need you, there’s a lot of varied stories but remember to tell your own.

Well done again for making that step.. Be proud of that step!

Like many others I’m here if you want to talk.

Speak again soon.

Hello there, I am also new on here. I have made same decision to stop gambling today. I have no money left over Christmas and am also worrying about all my bills and other things. Spoke to a really helpful lady this afternoon at gamcare and she gave me same advice to come on here and speak to other people in same situation as me.
