hello everyone i hope everyone is well and also happy new year !
I am sick of online gambling especially the fruit slots and video slots!!! I have put in place exclusions on my addiction using the gam stop i have also used willpower and support from gamcare family and friends to try and stop. however i realised... something was wrong... i have to want to stop and that no one can do it for you it is literally your own worst enemy and you could have all the support in the world but it starts with yourself.
another thing is that i have very recently put gamban onto my devices account such as iphone and laptop making literally impossible to gamble online with the help of gamstop a year ago (installed) and also using a mobile banking app which freezes online transactions. have tried to see if this works and 100 % does you can search for a gambling website however once you click on the website boom you're locked out private connection. this is the biggest blessing of 2021 and it hasnt even started yet...
i cannot emphasize how this has only been a matter of days and cannot tell you the amount of euphoria i am feeling at this moment in time i can literally feel the positive energy running through my veins. i have felt like this all day for the last few days and feel so amazing the dopamine is unreal words cannot describe.
i feel free, i am no longer a slave to my own body it is always important to listen to your body as it tells you things and hints at things. but you must have discipline and patience to come through.
i would like to take this chance to thank the doctors psychologist family friends and most of all yourself give credit to yourself once in a while

It's positive and great to hear that you have put in place exclusions on gambling sites using Gamstop and Gamban and that you have the support of family and friends to try and stop gambling .
It's also brilliant that you have identified that this comes down to yourself and only you can ultimately make the changes. The strategies , treatment and support helps facilitate these changes of course , so keep it all up the best you can .
