Hello All,
Recently I started gambling again after a three year absence which I am devastated about!! Started going into the bookies etc. Last night I managed to get on a uk based casino covered by gamstop and it let me through(obv I won’t mention the name), as you can imagine I lost as usual and stuck in the usual situation of counting my pennies! I have contacted the said casino and asked them to review their security even though it is ultimately my fault. Time to get back to being focused and battle against these awful temptations I suppose!
thanks for listening
david
Hi Dave
i have just read your post. Sorry to here you have recently had a devastating blow. It’s even harder hitting when you have done so well over the past few years
Out of this experience you definitely have lots of positives
staying gamble free for 3 years is absolutely a fantastic achievement.
Being a compulsive gambler like yourself as we both know the urges never go away but we just need to work out how to handle them to maintain the many good days gamble free that are possible
the difficult thing for me to get my brain around is these moments can come very unexpected and completely out of the blue
we will conquer this if not the first time but we will try and try again
keep your chin up we will become winners leaving this behind us
Affected by gambling?
