So i posted for the first time earlier this week, Monday. That was after losing yet again but hopefully for the last time.

I'm now almost at the end of a 2nd day without going online. Yesterday was awful, my mind still thinking about the lost money, the guilt and how and when to tell my wife. Today I have had a few urges. Combination of too much time to think about it on the journey into work and emails telling me about bonuses credited to my account. It's been useful to read about the time, money, location aspect. I'll try and use that to avoid falling for any misgiven thoughts about one last time.

Have also been reading some of the recent stories from new members, and how so similar to my own.Won't spend £50 on a pair of trainers but have stuck hundreds and sometimes more on a hand of blackjack. It's incomprehensible that it's even possible to do it. When u win it can take time but u can lose it all and more in the matter of a few mins, few hands, moments of madness where u lose your sense of reality and ability to think straight.

I need to get through the next few weeks and will try and find something to take my mind off it and keep busy. Perhaps back to the gym which I've only doing on and off for the past year.

If u don't gamble u can't lose anymore.

Hey RB well done in managing not to gamble when you are seeing all the emails and "offers". To save yourself can't you put up a ban on betting online I found K9 helps. Also you can self exclude from the sites and the emails should also stop. Hope you continue and can beat the horrible illness of gambling.

All the best mate 🙂
