I belong here for now because I have been hiding what is no doubt an ongoing gambling problem that I have proven cannot be controlled with less or manageable bets.

I started here 2years ago and went gamble free for a good 100 days. I am banned from online casinos for another year after selecting 3 years on gamstop. However I only selected 2 years on land based casinos and for the last 3 weeks I have been 5 times and lost around 2500£

I have literally, 20 minutes ago got into my house having worked a u day week last week, warning around 1200, lost all of it. Worked 7 days and 80 hours and didnt see my daughter at all for what?! Nothing is the answer.

This is killing me. I said no more gambling when my daughter came and I stuck to it for a while but I just now cant stop thinking what 1000£ would get my daughter. I also have a holiday to pay for which is 600. That could have also paid for that. I feel beyond suicidal right now. My partner used to be someone I could lean but totally separate to gambling we arent inappropriate gold place right now so now I have nobody

Hello Losingcolour92,

Well done for registering with GamStop.  How do you feel about also registering with 'SENSE' for land-based casinos?

It sounds like you are saying that you feel like you don't have any support.  How might you feel about using GamCare's free counselling appointment service so you could have the emotional support of seeing one of our therapists each week?  Please consider calling us on our freephone 0808 8020 133 or our netline if you'd like immediate emotional support or if you'd like us to facilitate a referral for free local appointments.

You post that you feel beyond suicidal, if you do have suicidal feelings sometimes, you could also talk with the Samaritans on their short freephone 116 123, they are available 24 hours a day and provide a listening service for anyone in distress and in need of a listening ear.  You could also talk with your GP if you are finding it challenging to manage your mood.

Take care and once again please call us on 0808 8020 133 if you want immediate support.

You need to band yourself from everything possible. I'm one to talk but it can be so good. Temptation will always be there but if you're unable to go on anything, those temptations can start to go. Think .about who you are hurting. It's not just yourself. It's your daughter too.

Get every block possible in place.

You have good intentions, but theyre not enough as a compulsive gambler.  Blocks are needed and without them, you're not truly committing.  You know all this.  Time to exercise it.
