How can I delete or edit a post please?
I have seen posts that state “this post has been edited by” but i can’t see how to do it.

I have two posts I would like to delete / edit.

You literally have a few minutes after writing a post to edit it, and if you want to delete a post you'll have to contact forum admin

Hello sweetheart,

If you look at the bottom right-hand corner of your post right now you will see a link to quote what you said. During the few minutes after you post your content you get an option to edit it but it is time-limited. Gives you the chance to correct any typo's or think about what you said. If you wait too long, the option is gone. So far as I'm aware, you cannot delete without the @ForumAdmin people being involved. You need a bloody good reason though. They don't delete ought.

Thanks for your replies guys.

Nice to see it’s been kept a nice and simple process haha! Not!

Nevermind! I’ll just have to live with it then...!

Dear @other-half-them,

As the other forum members have advised, the option to edit a post is only available for a short time after you have submitted it. If there are edits or deletions you want to make after this time, you can email us at forum.admin@gamcare.org.uk to enquire about this. We generally prefer to avoid deleting posts as often they will have responses from other members and may have generated useful discussion, however, in some cases we are able to be flexible with this rule (for example, if it's a case of keeping someone safe).

We ask that forum users consider the fact that the forums are public before choosing to post. It may be helpful to read over your posts before submitting to make sure that you are comfortable with the information shared and they convey what you want them to.

Kind regards,

Elizabeth
