Are men more forgiving than women and why?
Just an observation that men seem far more likely to stand by a gambler,why could that be.?

I dont know if you can take this down to a gender issue. If anything I get the sense that women see more of the reality and danger of the situation.
Do more men gamble?...probably yes so its the women partners left to pick up the pieces.
Ive been a gambler and I wouldnt live with one...male or female. I dont actually like gamblers and Ive been one.
Maybe men brush this off because they learn not to show emotion and think they can have a strong face in handling it. When faced with a gambling addiction thay should actually have a healthy fear for its sheer power.
As I said its often women trying to pick up the pieces and I dont blame them if they walk out........who could blame them?
