I am becoming more spiritual as time passes.

I believe that we are all part of a greater conciousness and that we come here to learn about ourselves

I just want a simple life as well. Full stop.

Up until this point iv'e had an addicts life. Lurching from one crisis to the next.

Purpose... Iv'e probably always been orientating myself in the right direction. Am empathic and sensitive to other peoples needs. I help others. I enjoy helping others. Its what I do.

Joy: Having a joke and a laugh. Chocolate

Goal: Well iv'e got to do a sub-4 hour marathon before I get too old.

I like watching Netflix and films too, and I’ve arranged every week to go out with my husband to combat the lonely feeling he has...he pushed me away...I think this will help us both.

I think when it comes down to it, it’s the simple things in life that mean so much.

Have you tried mindfulness?

Yes i do try to live in the moment, especially when am not feeling stressed. Noticing things, the wildlife, breeze on the face, other people. I make a point of smiling and saying hello to folks, but some people seem so lost in their own worlds that they don't even notice. That's what I am like after a gambling episode completely trapped in my own thoughts in my own head space, consumed with negative emotion and completely panicked.

I love that feeling when everything feels in balance and you just break out into a smile for no particular reason. It doesn't happen very often with me but when it does happen its lovely.

Like you say, we all make mistakes. I am recovering and so will your husband. 🙂

Hey so glad to hear your positive thoughts & that you are recovering...how are you feeling today.

update: husband went to hypnotherapy & said he felt calmer without all thoughts racing through his head. He has another apt tomorrow. I have full control of finances, all user names, passwords, he will report all cards as lost so that I can keep the new cards & PIN numbers. Any changes will notify his credit file. Surprisingly my dad confided to me that he too was addicted to stocks and shares & it took a £* loss for him to TOTALLY STOP! So yes it can happen! Please have hope everyone.
