So it's coming up to 3 weeks since I last gambled.... longest period of GF in a while.
I print off a weekly out goings of my bank and give it to my mum, to show her I haven't spent money on gambling. Which makes me feel mixed emotions, but so far it's worked enough along side a 5 year ban on gam stop. But the thoughts of acting on impulse are always there and that's the danger.
That impulse which can appear like from nowhere is always what is a danger to me.
That is why more change than just not gambling is what I need.
It's quite humbling to keep an honest account of every penny you spend. But it can also be a refreshing experience and highlights the basic cost of living as well as the real savings that can be made. All the best. Keep it up!
