GamCare ExTra e-learning
Who is this training for?
GamCare ExTra e-learning has been developed by GamCare, using our 17 years experience as the UK’s national association for the treatment of problem gamblers. GamCare ExTra is designed to assist professionals in the betting and gaming industry to better identify potential problem gambling behaviour and signpost where to find help.
The program contains four realistic customer contact scenarios designed to raise awareness of responsible gambling and improve knowledge and understanding of social responsibility.
ExTra e-learning includes four scenarios. In these, the learner is invited to respond to the customer who may, or may not be displaying signs of problem gambling.
The learner's task it to:
- Identify potential problem behaviour
- Respond appropriately to the customer's concerns
- Signpost to GamCare services, where appropriate
The package also allows managers to monitor and assess progress, and on completion the learner is awarded a personal GamCare Certificate of Achievement in Social Responsibility.
This training has been developed to raise awareness of problem gambling with all levels of staff, to empower them in their specific job roles.
