GamCare Certification

GamCare applies its experience in helping problem gamblers to the provision of advice and training to the gambling industry on social responsibility and player protection. GamCare's Player Protection Codes of Practice are relevant to either remote or land-based operations. They include age verification, staff training, facilitating limits on time and money spent, self exclusion, and the display of information about gambling responsibly and sources of help. When the Codes of Practice have been fully implemented, the company is awarded GamCare Certification.

GamCare Certification logoIf you choose to gamble, GamCare recommends that you do so only with an operator with a clear responsible gambling policy and programme. Follow the links on the left to see which companies have achieved GamCare Certification.

Use of the GamCare Certification logo is reserved for those companies who have satisfied us with regard to their player protection measures and its use is strictly controlled.

The GamCare logo is a trade mark and the property of GamCare and should not be used without our permission. If you wish to use the GamCare logo in print or online you must approach us for permission and guidance on its use.

Gambling operators can apply for Certification. We can also supply leaflets and posters to display in gambling premises.

GamCare does visit gaming and betting premises during the Certification process but does not cold call individual premises. A GamCare representative will always be happy to show I.D.
