Face to Face Counselling - London

In London we offer face to face counselling at three different locations. 

Our well trained and experienced counsellors work within a broad range of therapeutic approaches allowing GamCare to provide counselling that meets the individual needs of each client. Generally our counsellors see problem gambling as a symptom of possible negative experiences earlier in life. Therefore it could be necessary to explore the individual’s life to understand what lies behind the problem gambling behaviour.

After your initial contact with the HelpLine or the NetLine you will be given the telephone number for the Face to Face Counselling team administrator. She will conduct a short interview, asking you for some details. She will then book you in for an assessment appointment, where you have a 50 minute session with one of our counsellors. Following the assessment appointment you will be contacted by the Face to Face Counselling team administrator once we have found a slot for regular sessions with the right counsellor.

In order for the counselling to have an impact and lead to success, you will have to be able to engage on a weekly basis for a certain period of time.
