1st Global Remote and E-Gambling Research Institute (GREGRI) conference

What's it all about?

Thursday 31 August and Friday 1 September 2006
De Meervaart, Amsterdam, the Netherlands

The Global Remote and E-Gambling Research Institute (GREGRI), the first private, non-profit research organization focuses on all aspects of remote gambling and e-gambling, including the economical, mathematical, legal, social and psychological aspects. We also would like to focus on the development, execution and evaluation of the regulation of remote gambling and e-gambling.

The Institute is aiming to be internationally recognized for its basic research. GREGRI, still a very young organization, aims to achieve its mission by funding applicants for research projects. As part of our mandate to build research capacity, we encourage the formation of research partnerships and the entry of new perspectives/disciplines to the field. Examples include the partnering of e-gambling and remote gambling providers with researchers, and the engagement of new researchers or traineeships.

GREGRI will have it's inaugurate conference. Our aim is to increase the dialogue between researchers, regulators, industry and all other interested parties and individuals. The Conference will bring together experts from a wide variety of disciplines and the organizers are anxious to ensure you that the contributions will be of high quality. The members of the Scientific Committee of GREGRI include:
