GamCare response to GREaT statement regarding the gambling helpline
25 August 2011
"GamCare, the National Association for Problem Gambling Care, Education, Prevention, and Training, is responsible for running the national gambling helpline and providing treatment and support for problem gamblers and those affected by gambling across the country. We welcome GREaT's decision to take over negotiations about the helpline from RGF. We will cooperate fully with them in order to reach agreement by the end of September and so provide a firm basis for planning and developing the helpline for the long term in the interests of problem gamblers and those affected by problem gambling."
