GAMCARE COUNSELLING RESUMES IN CUMBRIA *NEW PARTNERSHIP*

GamCare, the UK’s foremost authority on problem gambling and leading provider of help, support and counselling services to problem gamblers, is delighted to announce that it has partnered with The Cumbria Counselling Group (CCG) to provide the residents of Cumbria with access to GamCare problem gambling counselling. No such service has been available to residents for over nine months.
CCG’s head office is in Egremont and problem gambling counselling services will be provided across the county, in the east, in Furness and along the west coast, ensuring that all residents of Cumbria may gain access to these specialist services. Whilst its counsellors have experience in other areas of addiction, CCG will offer a specialist service in problem gambling counselling alone.
GamCare’s partnership with CCG will provide access to specialist counselling in problem gambling to a large geographic area long unserved by such specialist services.
