Dr Roslyn Corney, in the Department of Psychology and Counselling (University of Greenwich in London), is conducting research on women who gamble and the impact on their lives. She is mainly interested in talking to women who gamble from home using either the internet, television or telephone.

The interview may take up to an hour and will be totally confidential. It can be conducted by telephone. The interview will focus on the person’s experiences of gambling, the impact of gambling on their lives and relationships, and whether informal or outside help has been sought.

The study is funded by the Responsibility in Gambling Trust and the results will be written up in the form of a report (but without names or identifying characteristics) which will be made available for participants if they wish.

If you are female, gamble from home and are interested in taking part in her study, you can talk to her confidentially at 0208 331 8926 (her direct line) or you can email her on R.H.Corney@gre.ac.uk or write to her at Bronte Hall, Avery Hill Road, London SE9 2UG and she will get back to you.
