Charity GamCare says voluntary funding is the best bet for UK’s problem gamblers
Speaking at an international conference on gambling in the United States, GamCare Chairman Anthony Jennens set out a convincing case for a voluntary system to fund a responsible gambling strategy in the UK which should continue to be delivered through the existing infrastructure. He emphasised the achievements delivered so far, with a voluntary system, the important role which GamCare has played in this over the last 12 years, and the significance of its status as an independent charity.
