International Study on Internet Gambling
Do you ever gamble on the internet?
If so (and you are over 18 years old), you are invited to complete a short questionnaire online. It will concern your thoughts and feelings, and will take no more than 10 minutes to do. This research is being conducted by a PhD student in the School of Psychology, Deakin University, Melbourne Australia.
GamCare President
Andrew McIntosh, President of GamCare for more than 5 years, has died at the age of 77. Lord McIntosh of Haringey became President shortly after leaving the Government for whom, as a DCMS Minister, he steered the 2005 Gambling Act through Parliament.

GamCare reports rise in younger callers seeking help
Charity GamCare’s national telephone and online helpline teams answered over 35,000 calls in 2009/10, including 47% more calls to the NetLine, which is favoured by female and younger gamblers. The statistics are in the 2010 GamCare Annual Review, published today.
