The NetLine provides confidential advice, information and emotional support throughout Great Britain to anyone experiencing problems with gambling. The NetLine is an online text ‘chat’ service, where you can talk to an adviser by typing, and they will type back. You can access the service via a smartphone, tablet laptop or PC. As well as reading what the adviser types, you the adviser can also send you documents and links to read later. The service is available between 8am and Midnight 7 days a week.
The GamCare Forum is an online message board, providing a safe and secure space for users (who may be gamblers or their partners, friends and family) to share experiences, thoughts and feelings about problem gambling. Although the Forum is regularly moderated by the GamCare Team, and you'll find we contribute and reply to many messages, it is designed first and foremost for you to come together with other people in similar situations, working through similar problems.
We run regular sessions in GamCare’s online Chatroom, where users can chat about issues related to problem gambling. The Chatroom is a welcoming, friendly, safe and supportive environment. Some sessions might be fairly busy and intense; others will be quieter and more relaxed. Each session is moderated by a GamCare staff member, who will welcome you to the chat and be on hand to guide chat or answer questions.
